Another bit of e-mail spam today, this one in the form of a “If you could pick a superhero name and power…” poll. My “friends” send me these important, thought-provoking messages in a continuing effort to see how much spam I can endure before I jump off my balcony. My answers, for whatever they’re worth…

My superhero name would be Doctor Kwok. He was my pediatrician when I was little. It’s a cool name, and I always thought of him as intimidating and scary because he was always sticking me with needles and wanted cups of pee for some nefarious reason.

My superpower would be to mentally project into someone’s brain a really annoying song that they would not be able to dispel for 48 hours. My specialties would be:

1) The theme from “The Love Boat”

2) La Bamba (not a bad song, but annoying cuz no one REALLY knows the words)

3) The Oscar Mayer jingle

4) The Macarena

5) 99 Bottles of Beer
